EKU Colonel's Battalion held its traditional Military Ball on Saturday, March 23, 1012. 

The tremendously successful event hosted more than 180 participants in the Keen Johnson Grand Ballroom.  COL Brian Rogers, Commander of the Bluegrass Army Depot, served as guest speaker.

Eastern Kentucky University’s Company R-1 of the National Society of Pershing Rifles earned another national championship at the Pershing Rifle National Convention and Alumni Reunion competition at the 5th Regiment Armory in Baltimore.

The Fall 2011 FTX was conducted on November 18th-19, 2011.

This training consists of familiarization of U.S. weapons such as the AT4 rocket launcher and the M18 claymore mine, land navigation with map and compass, and squad mission training. Cadets perform recon missions, lay in ambushes, and react to enemy contact.
