2003 ROTC Ranger Challenge Team Wins Second Place

The Army ROTC 2003 Ranger Challenge team earned second place at the October annual competition at Fort Knox, Kentucky, missing a repeat of last year’s first place performance by 1/8th of a percentage point to Ohio State University.

The team won two events: One Rope Bridge and Patrolling. Cadet Josh Murphy won best overall marksman with a perfect score. The ROTC “B” team came in 10th place, beating all of the other “B” teams from the various schools that sent two teams and besting seven of the schools that brought only one team.

"We are very proud of what the ROTC Ranger Challenge Teams have accomplished and the commitments they are making," commented LTC Brett Morris.
